Worship With Us Every Sunday At 10:30 a.m.
We gather every Sunday in our historic Spanish-style sanctuary for engaging and meaningful worship that feeds your spirit. As a community, we engage in thoughtful prayer, modern liturgy, and outstanding music that is sure to make your heart sing. The sermons are stimulating and relevant and connect the wisdom of our historical text to a 21st century way of living. Each week is a little different, but there is always something to stimulate the calling of Christ to make God’s vision of extravagant hospitality a reality here on Earth. In the UCC we believe that no matter who you are, or where you are in your life journey, there is a place for you here at our table. We have Children’s Sunday school and childcare available during the service, and we celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion on the first Sunday of every month.
We Are an Open and Affirming Congregation
Our church has committed to be inclusive to all who walk through our doors regardless of race, color, age, ability, sexual orientation, or gender identity. We are proud to be advocates for justice with and within the LGBTQA community, the Black Lives Matter movement; prison reform, and other activist organizations in order to ensure full human rights and dignity for all of creation.
At Miami Shores UCC, it is our goal to create an inclusive worship experience and that includes providing accessibility options for people of all ability levels. At our sanctuary entrance from the parking lot, we provide a wheelchair-accessible ramp for those who may have difficulty with stairs. Our church office, fellowship hall, and accessible family bathroom are at parking lot level for your convenience.
