Food pantries depend on the kindness and generosity of strangers to maintain their stores. While many of us often donate during the holiday season, it’s important to remember that hunger is a year-round problem, and it doesn’t take any days off. For poor families with children, summer is an especially sensitive time. With children being out of school, many kids no longer receive school breakfast and lunch, so there is an added burden on the family to provide healthy meals. With this in mind, please consider bring nonperishable foods to donate to our partner food pantry Pass It On. Especially needed are soups, canned fruit, canned tuna, cereal, dry pasta, and peanut butter. For more info, please visit
