Maundy Thursday 2018
March 29 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another” (John 13:34).
Join us for this service of Tenebrae (extinguishing of candles) as we observe the first Lord’s Supper, the moment where Christ gave us a Maundy (Latin for commandment) that we are to love one another. In this service of contemplation and remembrance, we will go through the events of that last supper, extinguishing twelve candles to symbolize the betrayal and desertion of Christ by his disciples. Come and experience this solemn service on Thursday, March 29 at 7:00 p.m.
